Way too darkI had tried the permanent color, which was ok, the ammonia smell was very strong to me, so I then ordered the ammonia free color, demi perm, and requested a little lighter and brighter color, but it turned out much darker than I wanted, and was darker than the first color! I left it in for about 10 minutes, so maybe it was too long, but pretty unhappy with it, very dark and not brighter at all. I'll stick with Madison Reed, maybe will try one more time for the demi permanent but not sure if I'm willing to try a third time. Color not lasting as long as it used toI have recently noticed my color has not been lasting longer than a couple of weeks. I am stuck trying to temporarily cover my gray hairs between orders. Coverage used to last me about 6 weeks and now it seems my color is fading after a couple of weeks, if that. Has the product changed Esalon? Wow!I was dubious before doing this colour only because i haven't had the greatest results with box dyes. I followed instructions to the letter (something which i tend not to do and just whack it on!). Once hair was dried i really was pleasantly surprized because the colour was all even (never happens) the roots matched the (porous) ends and i was amazed! The fact you can ask for changes to the colour is brilliant, even though im loving my hair i have requested slight changes but its all easily done on the website. Oh My WOW!I'm 48 and have a fair amount of grey in my dark blonde hair. I was nervous about about permanent color because my hair is so long, but this was so easy! I absolutely love the results. My hair looks so beautiful and though my grey isn't completely gone, it blends perfectly and overall makes my result look more natural. Works well and cheaper than salonSo happy with my colour, easy guide on how to choose what suits your skin tone plus the tutorial on how to apply, really helps. Was great for a few weeksThe color was perfect and it covered my grays well. The packaging and instructions were great. The customer service was great.
