Beautiful colorLike many people, I "discovered" eSalon at the beginning of the pandemic. I have been extremely happy with their products. The results are on par with what I used to spend a fortune on at my salon, and I appreciate the ability to work with the colorists here to fine-tune my color. I decided to go a bit darker this time (with auburn undertones). The color turned out beautifully as always, and my very thin, fine hair was in good condition afterwards as per usual. Just OK- UPDATE: NOT OKAY AT ALL, GAVE ME ORANGE ROOTS!!UPDATE TO MY REVIEW: RECENTLY I PLACED AN ORDER AND ASKED FOR HALF A SHADE DARKER AND A LITTLE WARMER TONE. INSTEAD I RECEIVED LIGHTER COLOR. WHEN I MESSAGED CUSTOMER SERVICE BECAUSE I THOUGHT MY COLOR HAD BEEN FORMULATED WRONG, THEY TOLD ME NOTHING IS WRONG AND MY NOTES WERE FOLLOWED. I INSISTED MY COLOR WAS REFORMULATED INCORRECTLY BECAUSE I ASKED FOR A DARKER COLOR AND MY NEW FORMULA NOTES SAID IT WAS LIGHTER. I TRUSTED THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT AND NOW MY ROOTS ARE ORANGE!!! THEY ARE WAY TOO LIGHT AND WAY TOO ORANGE. DO NOT TRUST ESALON THEY WILL MAKE MISTAKES AND INSIST THEY ARE RIGHT. YOUR HAIR WILL END UP RUINED LIKE MINE. NO RESPONSE FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE YET ABOUT MY ORANGE ROOTS!!! I've dyed my hair a lot at home and have used eSalon a few times over the years. Important to note, I have yet to have a hair disaster with eSalon dye, but I only dye my 6N brown hair 5N or 6N, so I never try for major change. This most recent time I dyed my hair 6N demi-permanent to cover some grey hairs and enhance my color. The results are just ok. My grey/silver hairs are still there. Love my Custom Color SetI've been using this for 2 years now. It's very simple to order and to make any adjustments you wish to your color. The color is exactly what I desired and my hair seems to be much healthier. Easy to apply, great instructions and fabulous customer service that responds quickly to any questions or adjustments. I get so many compliments on my hair....I'm in my mid 40's and my hair is shiny, it's soft, no frizz, not dried out and doesn't look like I color it or overprocess it.
