I am allergic to eSalon hair colorI really wanted to love this custom do it at home hair color. The shade (a light cool brown) that was made especially for me was perfect and I dislike taking the time and expense of going to a salon. However, a patch test showed no skin irritation, so I applied the color as directed. When I rinsed off the color, an excessive amount of hair was lost. After drying, my scalp itched for days. Also, the product didn’t cover my grays completely and made my hair texture feel brittle, I thought at first that this was a temporary adjustment to the new hair color, so when it was time to color, I used the color again with the same results. I called an eSalon color specialist and the next formula was changed, and did help with gray coverage, but I kept loosing hair! I then cancelled my order and received an emailed response from their color specialist that said it is normal to loose 200 hairs a day.
