Too darkI like the color but it is much darker than I was hoping it would be. I suppose when I said dark auburn, I wasn’t sure how dark that would actually be. My hair is almost black now though, no hint of red in it at all. Sticky ickyOnce again, my hair coloring process turned my hair into a goopy, tarry mess. I followed all the directions including massaging my hair for 5 minutes in the shower (the directions recommended 1-2) to loosen the color and 4 shampoos and 20 minutes later I finally freed my hair of a goopy, greasy residue that the color left behind. I am convinced that it is the multiple shampoos that has left me with grays showing at only 3 weeks out from coloring and super dry hair. This is probably my 4th or 5th order. The last order was the first time it got goopy. When I contacted my colorist she said I needed to make sure and massage my scalp before shampooing. It took WAY more than a massage to fully clean my hair. I seriously considered using dish soap but was worried it would be too much for my hair after the coloring and multiple shampoos.
