Changes are not positiveI've been a eSalon user since 2013. The recent changes to the packaging leave much to be desired. The developer had leaked all over the box. The color bottle's large opening makes pouring more of a challenge. Standing in the shower with color everywhere, twice now, I was unable to tear open the shampoo packet because the tab broke off needing me to get out of the shower and find a pair of scissors. The "colorist" obviously did not read my detailed email instructionsI am completely white/gray, so I need good gray coverage. I wrote an email in detail telling them I was gray. I also wanted a blonde with a mix of level 9 and 10. What was sent was a stock blonde level 10 with bleach. So not only did it bleach what remaining nice color I had, but did not cover the roots. So, with white roots I remain...sad.... I am cancelling my membership as the "colorist" did not pay attention to my detailed description of what I needed. So, I will continue to color my own hair with the way better products from the beauty supply store. Don't know what I was thinking in joining this online supply. Very disappointedI hate to say this, but I was very disappointed with this very last shipment. I have touted your services to friends and family and Facebook, etc. and have been very pleased with your products up until this point. But this last time you got it very, very wrong! The base color that was used on my roots, etc. was perfect. But the second color sent for my tips was completely off and left my hair with very bright, vivid red tips instead of blending with the rest of my hair. I’m not sure how it was so far off, but it was. Excellent service but colour hard to wash outI can't rate the customer service highly enough. I spent 35 mins on phone talking through my hair colour history and problems. They really listened to what I wanted. But I found the newer formula hard to wash out (I'd used this 3 years ago something has changed) I massaged colour at scalp before rinsing as per instructions but still had a waxy sticky residue on ends. I also found the smell of ammonia very strong. This could be because I've been using ammonia free colour previously. I was pleased with the colour initially but on my roots (brown with 10 percent grey at most) lifted and faded alot lighter after couple of weeks. Despite using a colour safe shampoo. Obviously all colour fades but this was a few shades lighter with grey looking like it just had a colour wash effect peaking through.
