It used to work nicely but then it stopped covering IIt used to work nicely but then the last year or so it stopped covering my roots. It just doesn't work anymore. I went to the website and requested a change to the color so that it actually works, if possible. I kept getting sent the same formula without Any change. Bad color/extremely light 👎The color was WAY to light and did NOT even fully cover my Grey's! I was looking for a deep brown color with hints of mahogany in it, and what I received was not even remotely close to what I wanted! My hair was like the color or a very pale colored penny, it was horrible! I was so excited to try this hair dye and lets just say I was practically in tears when I got finished. I also specifically asked for extreme grey coverage and let's just say it barely covered them all from day 1. SauereiIch hab keine Ahnung wie man diese totale Sauerei im Bad vermeiden soll. Dann doch lieber färben lassen… besonders bei so dicken Haaren eine Herausforderung es gleichmäßig zu machen und ich hab noch nicht mal lange Haare. Ineffective for gray hairAfter trying multiple color kits in various iterations I have to concede that this is not the product for me. It does not cover my gray hair at all, and I get splotches of my natural color shining through. This isn’t normal, I’ve used other root color kits on the market and had quite satisfactory results with them. I thought eSalon would be better, but it has not turned out that way. I keep having an ugly red undertone to my brown color, even though I’ve communicated this problem to the colorist every single time they supposedly changed my formula. I colored my hair with the latest one they sent me and there’s zero difference with the kit they sent me beforehand. I don’t think they changed anything to be honest, they just sent out the old formula. I’m going back to the DPHue root color kit, as I got a much better gray coverage result with no red undertones.
