So disappointedI really looked forward to using this. I lost my job and have been cutting out all "luxuries" for myself but wanted to do something to look better and feel better. I sent photos, I explained the condition of my hair and what I wanted. I had gray roots that I wanted covered and I wanted my hair color to be shiny and natural looking. I used it today and could not be more upset. After coloring and using the shampoo and conditioner I couldn't even run my fingers through my wet hair because my hair was so gummy. I rinsed again and again and again, no extra color was coming out. I blowdryed my hair. Just awful. Gummy, matte, ugly. I used my own shampoo and conditioner and finally got my hair back to how it's supposed to feel - soft, swingy, normal. So I spent almost FOUR HOURS on my hair, had to shampoo/condition/dry TWICE, and what do I have now? Roots that are at least 3 shades lighter than my hair and the rest of my hair is a matte dark brown. So I have to go buy a root touch-up - using money I certainly don't have - just to achieve what I bought all of this to achieve: colored roots, colored hair, with shine and attractiveness. AND I got another bottle in the mail and was charged for it because I guess I didn't cancel quickly enough. I am deeply disappointed - I just wanted to do one nice thing for myself so I would at least feel better about myself as I struggle thru a very hard time. Best color for covering grey hair.This product is great. My hair was a silver grey color and I wanted to get my natural color which is med brown. esalon delivered, the color is beautiful. I was nervous about ordering off the internet, but so glad I did. This is just as good as the beauty salon and sooo much cheaper. Getting my color formula right has been difficultI am on try number three for the perfect haircolor. It is not coloring my roots thoroughly. Update to follow.
