Way too messyI wasn't happy with a 2 step color treatment, but I was willing to give it a try. Worked ok but I was using Madison Reed and it's all 1 step and that is so much easier. The worst part was the final 2-3 minutes when the instructions say to put water in the bottle with the leftover color and massage it in. Well, the color got all over the bathroom vanity and into my eyes and nose and it burns. Can't do much to get the color out of my eyes since my gloved hands have color all over them. So bummed!I wanted to love this color, but unfortunately it is just BAD. I sent pictures of my current hair, a picture from their page of the color that I loved, and included a message stating exactly what I wanted. What I received yesterday is not even close. In fact, it’s not a color that anyone would want their hair to be. It’s so dark, muddy, and almost appears to be more gray! Did Not Cover GrayFirst, the color on the non gray hair was beautiful. It was warm, rich, and multidimensional. However, the gray roots did not cover well at all. They were various shades from gray, ash brown, and golden brown even though I left the coloring on my roots for 30 minutes as directed. If it had covered my gray roots I would buy again. DisappointedHello, I'm pleased with the kit, instructions and also the sticker that helps hold instructions. I'm disappointed because the color did not cover all my gray hair around my face, though it was saturated. I followed full instructions (20 minutes and 5 minutes) Step 2 instructions does not indicate to wear gloves, however shouldn't gloves be worn to color ends or are we to keep our gloves on while waiting for 20 minutes? I recommend to add a 3rd pair of gloves to kit and to add wear gloves at step 2 Instructions. To fix the gray around my face area, may I receive a free touch up kit, asking for small amount to fix area, not a full portion. Not what I was hoping forThis is not the colour I was hoping for at all. It was a lot darker than I hoped it would be. I have pretty much juts gone back to my natural colour and that is not what I had in mind. It may have been a miscommunication so I will try again and hopefully we will get it right next time.
