Lets hopeI loved the Frist color then but wanted it a little bit different it was easy to charge my new color for my upcoming box and is loved the color then on my newest box its the Frist color again. Something happened to the color this monthI just colored my hair with my recently received color set and something was terribly wrong this time. The color and developer did not mix properly and the color wouldn’t hardly come out of the bottle. It was thick and lots of product settled at the bottom of the bottle in a thick goop. As a result my color was not good, the grays and root color on top are still visible. First time this has ever happened. Be careful which colour you choose!While there is lots to like about the colour set - it is quite straightforward to use, the instructions are clear, and it's helpful to have things like the gloves and stain remover etc, unfortunately the colour is not what I wanted. I opted for 'light brown' and it came out quite dark, with lots of red tones. It is the first time I have used home hair dye, but I have had my hair coloured in an inexpensive salon a couple of times (four years ago), with similarly annoying results! So I think it's as good/bad as the salon experience I had in the past, but a bit frustrating as had mentioned in my initial enquiry/order that I wanted to avoid going too dark/red; I just wanted to cover my greys, not change my hair colour. The 'custom colourist' doesn't seem to have taken this into account. I even bought the 'soft red neutraliser' toning treatment, but it doesn't seem to have worked either. color faded fastI liked the results initially, but then a few days later noticed one spot looked a bit lighter. Less than a week later, I noticed some of the color had already washed away - and I could see grey streaks coming through! I followed instructions to the T.
