Gave me hot rootsI was very disappointed with eSalon colour. I gave all the details of my usual root touch ups but this product was too light and gave me hot roots. I used the online system to get advice and someone supposedly adjusted the colour for next time but there was no refund or apology and it didn’t look like the colour had been adjusted properly so I was likely to have hot roots again. I have also used the Tints and contrary to the claims, these products are very harsh on my fine hair and eSalon has trashed my hair! Thanks to eSalon I have joined the ranks of Lockdown hair disasters. I wish I hadn’t bothered. If you regularly use harsh chemicals or styling irons on your hair and suffer with breakage/ splitting anyway then you will probably find these products fine but if you know how to care for your hair and have a hairdresser that knows how to protect your hair during treatments you will regret going to eSalon!!! I wanted to go lighter not darkerI am frustrated. I have made it clear with each follow up order that I want to go lighter and it has not happened. Absolute disasterI highly regret even trying this. My hair was one solid color - i ordered a color almost exact to my current color which was a very dark rich brown. Only ordered it to even out the tones from being in the sun surfing. I was sent two different color combinations - I even emailed and asked about it before using. One was for "roots" which i didn't have and the other for "ends". The "darkest brown chocolate" somehow bleached the top half of my head into a red/copper color and the bottom half is a completely different color. This is going to cost hundreds to correct. Hair color needs to be little more golden blondeThe last kit was too dark but after four washings it was better This current kit is much better after coloring but I would like the color to be a little more golden blonde. The worstDidn't cover my gray made my hair dry as hay the worst hair color ever! I've always used box color natural instincts and my hair was very soft porosity was perfect. I'm so so disgusted. I want to return the color I paid 30$ for its awful! Good product but not what I was expectingI thought I was getting a strawberry blonde with intense copper red. Instead my hair looks reddish brown....I feel it almost went darker than I wanted. DisappointingI had high hopes for this after seeing all the 5 star reviews, but the result was not as good as the one I buy from supermarket. It didn't cover all my grey roots and had a golden tinge to it which I was trying to illuminate. Not like the colour I was shown in picture. So, back to old faithful. 2nd bad color set receivedThe first few orders I received were wonderful but the last three were off. There was a double set I received sometime back and the 2nd set didn't have any color of brown in that set. I figured it was a mistake, it happens. This last set was very bad like it was an old or a bad batch. I mixed the color & developer together as usual, waited 30min, and when I went back to the bottle it had explored all over my sink and floor. I'm discontinuing from ordering from you. This was the 2nd time the color didn't cover my gray strands. The cost is reasonable but too expensive if each set I receive I have to hope it will be a good set once I receive it.
