colour did not come out as describledwas given "medium chocolate brown" and the colour came out practically matching my old auburn hue. I told family members I was trying esalon and the next time they saw me they said I thought you were moving away from reds. It looks the same as before except no roots. Too dark, and hair is dullMy color was supposed to be a dark brown, but came out black. The copper corrective color was supposed to be lighter, and my hair was JET black when it was done. Didn't cover any grays, color washed down the drain.I've been satisfied with previous custom color sets I've received, but recently the quality has dropped substantially. I followed the instructions carefully, per usual, and the dye didn't cover any of my grays, and all the purple washed down the drain. Needed more dyeUnfortunately one bottle wasn’t enough to cover my ends. Plus, my roots seemed lighter. And it was more of a soft black than a blue black on my ends, for the parts of my hair that got some color. Bad luck with this companyThe color I received was not close to what I asked for and it took ten months to get back to a normal shade after that brassy disaster. One thing I will give them is their color has staining power! I specifically had not checked autoship because I wanted to check out the color first and I also knew I would be moving to another address. They shipped the next month anyway to the address I had already left. By the time I was able to retrieve the package it was too late to return it. While I was very annoyed, I didn’t want to bother writing a bad review but did call the company and tell them I was unhappy with their product. Despite that, they’ve continued to bombard me with emails asking me to come back.
