Not satisfiedI’ve used Esalon for years. Was always satisfied until last 2 colorings . Turned my hair on top orange color. I messaged Esalon and was told a colorist would call me. Nobody ever called. Esalon sent me a third color of the same for free that has not been adjusted. I’m cancelling my subscription. Just OK- UPDATE: NOT OKAY AT ALL, GAVE ME ORANGE ROOTS!!UPDATE TO MY REVIEW: RECENTLY I PLACED AN ORDER AND ASKED FOR HALF A SHADE DARKER AND A LITTLE WARMER TONE. INSTEAD I RECEIVED LIGHTER COLOR. WHEN I MESSAGED CUSTOMER SERVICE BECAUSE I THOUGHT MY COLOR HAD BEEN FORMULATED WRONG, THEY TOLD ME NOTHING IS WRONG AND MY NOTES WERE FOLLOWED. I INSISTED MY COLOR WAS REFORMULATED INCORRECTLY BECAUSE I ASKED FOR A DARKER COLOR AND MY NEW FORMULA NOTES SAID IT WAS LIGHTER. I TRUSTED THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT AND NOW MY ROOTS ARE ORANGE!!! THEY ARE WAY TOO LIGHT AND WAY TOO ORANGE. DO NOT TRUST ESALON THEY WILL MAKE MISTAKES AND INSIST THEY ARE RIGHT. YOUR HAIR WILL END UP RUINED LIKE MINE. NO RESPONSE FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE YET ABOUT MY ORANGE ROOTS!!! I've dyed my hair a lot at home and have used eSalon a few times over the years. Important to note, I have yet to have a hair disaster with eSalon dye, but I only dye my 6N brown hair 5N or 6N, so I never try for major change. This most recent time I dyed my hair 6N demi-permanent to cover some grey hairs and enhance my color. The results are just ok. My grey/silver hairs are still there. ProductI WANT MY MEMBERSHIP CANCELED ASAP! DO NOT DEDUCT ANY FUNDS FROM MY CHECKING ACCOUNT. I followed instructions properly. The product got very hot to where the product was expelling out of the bottle like a volcano wouldn’t stop. The product went on very well but fret washing and rinsing and applying conditioner. Does not cover gray well on Asian hair textureUnfortunately, I had to cancel because the product did not really cover my gray, and even after the colorists tried to adjust for a second try it was still not effective. Went back to Loreal Excellence/Superior Preference.
