Formula no longer covering gray rootsI have also been a long-time customer who loved my hair color and the ease of automatic shipments. However, something has changed. The color is still beautiful, but the product is no longer covering my gray roots. I asked for my color to be adjusted to cover my roots more effectively, but the adjustment did nothing to solve the problem. I have just asked for a second adjustment to the formula. First time using this productFollowed instructions...not first time dyeing my hair so was very disappointed in the results...you can still see gray hairs and the color didn't take at all...very disappointed. Did Not Cover GrayWell, I wanted so much to love this. Just basically wasted 2 hours working on this only to take the towel off my head and see just as much gray as before. And, yes, I followed the directions to the letter. I am a seasoned home colorist, so it's not like I was working with no experience. Dark Ends Light Roots Again!Again Followed directions as directed and ended up with dark ends and light roots 😔3rd time using this product hoping for better results each time but just not happening. If you feel you have been losing significantly more than this, you may have had an allergic reaction. Turned my hair blackI wanted to cover my greys and get a slightly lighter bit of brown running through my hair. Instead, after following the instructions to the letter, I have ended up with black hair. The worse color everUnfortunately I am so disappointed with how it turned out. I have been with esalon for a while with the demi permanent color, and always loved how the color turned out. I just asked to change to the permanent color for better gray coverage, unfortunately the color is completely off. My hair has a extremely uneven color. Very red roots.
