Rep lied to me about the ingredientsIncredibly angry right now, esalon. Despite what I was told by a rep, the ammonia-free formula is NOT PPD-free. The email assures me that while it's made in the same facility as your products with PPD, the 0% formula is PPD-free. Based on that email, I ordered the product. I just did a patch test, because I always patch test, and I developed a giant hive where the product was applied 10 minutes into the test. I removed the solution, took an antihistamine, and then Googled the product and found out that - guess what - it *might* contain PPD. WHY ON EARTH WOULD ANYONE ADVISE THAT YOUR PRODUCT IS PPD-FREE WHEN IT IS NOT? Do you realize that people can end up in the E/R or die? I carry an epi-pen because of my allergies. First try…This was my first try with eSalon, and I was so very excited but the color pay off wasn’t what I expected. I wanted more intense from the “intense red” I received and the formula (hair dye) was weirdly warm and sprouted out the bottle and grew like elephant toothpaste and a science experiment. . Cant cover grays. I thought I had cancelled but they resent and charged me $34I TRIED to cancel after first failure. but they resent another batch which is just as ineffective as the first. They said the color I wanted was too darkI specified I wanted to cover a bad haircut which I was clear on. Now I have an even lighter color that shows every flaw, and I get to wear a hat now for weeks until I can fix this. I didn't think they were going to go lighter!
