Great quality but color was too darkI love esalon! The quality is always great. I had to go to a local salon to transition from red to blond. After that I went straight back to esalon. The only disappointment this time was that my new esalon color was a whole lot darker than the blond color I was expecting. So my light blond is now a dark-medium blonde. That's a huge shame! I don't know if this was my mistake or the colorist change due to concerns about sending too light of a color. They did send several emails about that. I sent them pics of my new color to confirm that I wanted the lighter shade. So I am thinking it was thier choice. Be careful what you wish forGot the exact color I wanted and hoped for. It was beautiful. The only problem was my perfect color was too close to the gray/white I was trying to cover. It also had no contrast between my pale lily white skin tone and the beautiful blonde you created for me. super happy with colorI love the color and the way it covered. I wasted the extra bottle because unfortunately I read the instructions which made it sound like the second bottle was not the same so we made it up ready to use it and I didn't need it as there was extra in the first bottle so I basically wasted the extra because the directions make is sound like a two step process not like there is a second batch for free. FrustratedI don't like the way this site is set up. I think u should be able to go in and change ur hair color by urself at anytime u like. AmazingI have been playing with my own color for a few years because salons just mess it up as badly as I had, so why pay them !! I was just trying to get to a medium ash brown. That's all... they said I need to get a full head of highlights for several sessions to be light enough etc. I decided to bleach wash my own hair. Why pay hundreds every session when I can't stand highlights. My hair hates bleach, so do it at once like ripping a bandaid! I used quality salon products, but had the orange hair I was expecting from bleaching darker hair. So I tried a few ash browns that did absolutely nothing and my curls were straight. They went straight from the bleach and looked awful. So I had forgotten about E Salon. I said why not... sent them the info told them what my desired outcome was... received the box and went at it. First, it is packaged amazingly and they have everything you need right there. I followed the directions to the letter. Jumped in the shower to rinse, and was AMAZED. The perfect color in one try?!?! Not possible. I have tried several colors.... the same color in fact by other brands. It was astonishing. They stir little cauldrons of magic hair color and Tammi just nailed it exactly. Thank you !!! You saved me so much time and guess what... my curls already curled back up to what they were before!!!!
