Color ChangesThe first order was a beautiful color and lasted about 8 weeks. The last 3 orders have been so inconsistent with my first order. I am very disappointed in the results. One order came in so dark, and the following order was so light (I'm glad we were too busy to do my hair color for a while, so I had both kits at home) my husband had to mix the two to get a color close to my first order. My latest kit is so light, I don't even want to use it. Inconsistency will lose me. I sent a message to customer service today, so we will see how they will correct the issue. ***Changed my rating on 5/14/2022 I changed my rating from a 2 star to a 5 star! I'm all about customer service and eSalon rates very high with me. As you can see from my comments above, I was not satisfied with the product, but eSalon jumped on my complaint and changed my color per my instructions. While I was waiting on my new shipment, we decided to use up the last kit. HOWEVER, my husband changed his method. (I'm not sure whether we missed anything in the instructions, but here is the change.) After my husband shook the color "vigorously" he let it sit for about 10 minutes. Then shook the product again. The color darkened up which was similar to our first shipment. He applied it and I just showed him and we are SOOOO happy with the results. Better than ExpectedThis is my first time using this, and I had never dyed my hair before, so I was a bit apprehensive, especially having coily (4c) hair, but I took the jump because I didn't want to use box dye. Color perfect, but fadesCustom color is a rich, dark brunette. Perfect at first, but after 3 weeks lightens up to a more red-orange. I do have an old perm, some gray which affects the color. 1 de 1 personas encontraron este comentario útil. ¿Y tú? |

Awesome color match, but still have the greysThe matching of my color ( which wasn’t easy, I have at least 3 color tones to my hair) was absolutely on point! Unfortunately, it didn’t cover all of my grey hair. I even made a point to over saturate the greys that frame my face, but they are still very visible. awaiting answersTyping as I sit with color atop my head, looking for some answers from eSalon. I have used and recommended eSalon for years ... had great results at a reasonable price, with minimal issues. Until the past few months. This color set seems like what I had used successfully for years, but I nervously await results. Last color application, and a few prior to that, have been very different. The color itself was different ... lighter, different consistency, less viscous maybe? And my hair did not look the same. I've had two satisfying conversations with eSalon about the issues (bottom line, my hair color didn't look as good or the same). It seemed that there were manufacturing problems, but that's a guess.
