Nice colour but applying two bottles was a faffI applied this colour on my own but not being a hairdresser and having quite long hair I found it difficult to keep roots separate from lengths of hair. When I applied the second bottle I applied it all over the hair to ensure I had covered all the hair from roots to tips so that I didn't get a patchy result as I couldn't see very well the back of my head. It was a bit of a faff for me and I would prefer a one bottle application. The colour was lovely and the results were shiny and covered the little bit of grey that I have. A little on the dry side so a richer conditioner would be better for my hair. The best! Been a fan since 2014, but here's what could be betterAs a customer for over 10 years, it almost goes without saying that I love this product. The color itself is great and long-lasting. I get compliments all the time... mostly at my hair salon! The customizing of the color is a great process with outstanding results. Here's where stuff gets maddening. Several years back, someone (I assume a bald man) changed the packaging and I have been scratching my head ever since. Least offensive; though still bad; was the overall design (colors, graphics) going from punchy to pale, boring, unimpactful pink and purple. Yawn. The real problem is that the bottles and their caps/lips/openings are simply stupid. If one were instructed to pour the contents from bottle 1 into bottle 2, then one might assume that the opening on bottle 2 would be larger to accommodate that operation. Nope! You are pouring from a large opening into a smaller opening. The nozzle on the applicator bottle is also woefully small. Finally the shampoo and conditioner packets, if you can get them open at all, provide a hole the size of a pinhead through which to squeeze the product. As good as the products themselves are, it is clear that the people making packaging decisions have never used any of them.
