Beautiful, natural color and great customer service.Ok, I was terrified to do this. It sounded like a great idea until the package arrived. Then, I absolutely had to do it...no excuses. My instructions said for me to do roots only. But I wanted all over color. I called and was connected with a certified hair colorist immediately. She explained why it had to be roots only. And I got a pep talk making me feel that maybe, I could actually pull this off! So I figured, “ok, I’ll play your silly game. What can I lose that can’t be fixed?” Well, all I can say is that it’s probably the best hair color I’ve ever had. It is gorgeous. My hair is shiny and full of body and life. My friends couldn’t believe how beautiful and natural looking it is. They attribute it to my skill, but I know better. I know I screwed up several times. Good but, could be better!My colorist chose the most beautiful red highlights inside my custom color ! However, it did not " blend" the way I had hoped it would. I have sections of heavy saturation of color and barely any in others. Probably more to do with my hair than the color. I will never pay $100 plus for color again thanks to eSalonI tried eSalon because of COVID. I had never dyed my own hair before, and didn't know exactly how to pick the right color. After I tried on my own, I realized the tone was not right for me, so I chose another, with a note saying why it didn't work. My stylist, Crystella L., recommended a different tone, saying the one I chose would pull too much read. Well I just dyed my hair today and I couldn't have asked for a better match. It looks exactly like the color I paid over $100 at the salon. Thank you Crystella, and thank you eSalon. For those of you on the fence, all I can say is save some money and go for it.
