Does not cover greyI love the customer service and believe colorists are experienced and customer friendly. I tried 5 times and worked with them to change my color. Looking for dark brown hair and grey coverage is not enough, I still see Grey's after following all instructions. I still like to go with them as it is ammonia free dye. The soft black didn’t take or even cover my gray.I’ve been very happy with the colors in the past. My natural color is light brown with gray around my temples. A few months ago, I dyed it ‘store bought’ mahogany. I was really looking forward to the black but, after following the instructions and getting out of the shower, it’s barely dark brown and I still have the gray. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Ruined My CountertopI've used your hair color a year ago, decided to give it another try because the compliments were non-stop and I loved it. I used most of the solution and noticed the bottle was warmer than when I started but I left the bathroom to set my timer and to get another towel. Not the colour they said.I sent a picture of my present colour which had root growth, that i had tried to do, this had a very warm tone. I spoke a couple of times saying that i definitely wanted no warmth to the colourist, so i was advised that a light brown with ash tones would be the best, i was only going to do the root growth although this was now a good 6 inches, but the rest of the length was fine. I paid for fast delivery but it still took about 9 days to arrive. I followed the instructions and was left with a very strong warm colour more then before. I washed it a few times and even put a blue shampoo on which didnt make any differance. I have now had to put a colour stripper on and have a fair ginger colour on my growth.
