Poor Grey Coverage AND REDISH!!!I spoke to the very pleasant colorist but the more I think about it and past experiences with other box and “services” I just don’t understand why such a REDDISH TINT! It is soo disturbing! I have tried for the light brown/dark blond before and never gotten this much red! The one really bad area of NO GREY COVERAGE at my middle top split has never happened either and I believe and also figured out with the colorist is because (as in the past) I should keep it on longer that 30min! I knew 30 was too short but I figured maybe your color is extra specially made and different didn’t need all that time. I appreciated the second complimentary color when the first was wayyyy to dark but I just don’t understand even with the uploaded pics it keeps getting so wrong? If the colorist needs a picture of what I want that she should have asked for that in the beginning. Now I have a formula that is wayyy off and a grey patch I am supposed to figure out what to do with and wait for my next delivery because I can’t purchase right now and really to purchase a while kit for one patch seems like a waste. I don’t even know how to continue using this service? There seems to be a miscommunication and constant increasingly errors. I want a light brown without a prominent tint PERIOD. If I have to gradually lighten more with highlights than I understand that. But please try and get it as less red and cool as possible. If u need a pic of what I am talking about besides all the pics I uploaded from the first than let me know. My shade is a medium brown. So as light from that as possible w AS LITTLE RED AS POSSIBLE! AGAIN IF NOT POSSIBLE than just say so please. I was really excited about this service. Maybe another colorist? I really like Yvette. Maybe it was just confusion. The timeing was an error on “your” part I believe. 2 choices blackIt’s not really YOUR custom color because they only give you yltwo choices of black and I tried both and they BOTH don’t cover the gray! I specified that I had a gray crown and I wanted the darkest black they could make. My roots came out a light brown! Not happy at all! Professional looking colorLove eSalon! I was pretty intimidated coloring my own hair and using an at home product, but eSalon made it so easy and the color looks like I just came from a salon. No Brass, all Sass!I have been coloring my hair for too many years. I am still refusing to go grey... just because I can. When I was purchasing hair color from stores I was always so disappointed and after a short time felt the color always showed as brassy. My natural youthful hair color is dark brown. Over the past 5 years I have adjusted by color on multiple occasions from dark brown to what is now a darker blond/fair. With each small change E-salon has gotten it right every time. Nice color and dimensionI followed the tutorial which I think helped with success. I hadn’t used that process with at-home coloring in the past. So far it seems to be holding the color. Nailed it!I asked for a few changes to my color (described in my own special way) and you NAILED IT! I have never been able to find a color with red tones that didn't look like it came from the closet of either a clown or a drag queen. This color is so natural looking.
