Slightly dark!The first time was to light because it did not cover my greys, this time around it was to dark. The recommendation was to leave it for 40 minutes instead of 20 minutes. My real color! Love it.My hair turns brassy red from sun, chlorine, whatever. The custom mix of color I received is perfect for me, drabs out most of the red without being too dark or flat looking. Disappointed in color pay offI was very excited to try eSalon, but was disappointed in the results. The color I got was not what I expected and I made sure to follow the instructions very carefully. Not so "custom"I have been coloring my hair for a long time. I know what color to use but thought I'd give eSalon a try. I ordered the color closest to what I currently use but was disappointed there weren't more choices. I got a message from my "colorist" who said the color I ordered was too dark to go in one step so she changed my order to Strawberry blonde when I'm currently medium auburn. I replied that I did NOT want strawberry blonde but they sent it anyway. My hairstylist says if I use this product it will make my hair pink. Tried to call but they don't answer.
