When coloring hair, one of our safety recommendations referenced in our Product Safety & Usage guide (included with every hair color order) is to remove contact lenses before applying the color. However, if you must wear contact lenses and any product gets into your eyes, we advise removing your lenses before rinsing them. Hair color should not cause hair loss and we highly recommend consulting with your physician prior to coloring your hair again. We have gone ahead and reached out to you to ensure that our product is right for you. |
Colorist changed my colorI am very disappointed. My root color was correct and used as directed. The color for my roots was not correct and when I asked they just told me I must have not followed the instructions. I read the instructions as I have been for the last 20 years I have been coloring my hair. When I looked at the formula they did for the roots and the ends I see they changed the formula for the ends without even stating it in the instructions. I am very discouraged. I loved the colors they sent prior, they looked natural. I hope my furture orders are correct. This next time I will definitely check the color formulas before I apply them. Suffocating Chemical OdorBecause of my grey hair, I now have to buy the permanent hair color. The chemical was so strong that I had a hard time breathing and my eyes started to sting. I ended up not using the product. Not sure if you've had this type of complaint before. Strawberry BlondeI was looking forward to using this service. However, I paid for one product the color wasn't what it was expected to be. I was sent a free product and another free product. I sent pictures and was asked to contact them. I did, and was told they couldn't get my color. I'd have to go to a colorist and have it adjusted before they could assist any further. Please cancel orderI like the color but not the process results. While putting it on everything it touches is stained. And for at least two weeks after it stains my hands and nails. color washed out around front of my face and sides after 2nd shampoosorry but I tried your product and it works the same way when I buy in the department store, not your fault. I must have gray hair that cannot hold color! Was just wishing your product would really work for me. Not the right colorAfter receiving my first color, I asked for one that was lighter with more copper. The second color was perfect. But for some reason this last color was the same as the first color! That makes no sense. Nice colorI really do like the color that resulted from using esalon products, however, the application in itself is rather messy and tedious. I did not like having to color my roots first, wait 25 minutes, then put more color on the rest of my hair, leave on for 5 minutes, then put more color on once I'm in the shower. I have long hair, so it was MESSY. Also my hair was extremely dry afterwards. I used the enclosed conditioner and shampoo, which was not even close to being enough for my long hair. Also, I did the pre testing beforehand as stated in the usage booklet, with no issues. However, once I actually colored my entire head, it began to burn horribly when I started to wash it out in the shower. I don't know if a reaction occurred when the color combined with water, but it was awful.
