Extremely disappointed and upset by this product.While I initially had great expectations for this product, I was extremely disappointed. I've been dying my hair on and off for about three years and I decide to try eSalon because I thought it would last longer than drugstore brands and be cheaper than the salon. I was SEVERELY disappointed for two reasons. First off, the hair dye is next to impossible to wash off. It took me one wash with the provided shampoo and four washes with my own shampoo and my hair was still left with waxy black gunk all over it, to the point where it wouldn't even dry. Secondly, the product caused my hair to fall out in clumps and thin like never before. It should be noted that I dyed my hair darker and have NEVER experienced hair thinning or loss from dyeing my hair or any other reason. Upon reading other reviews online after my experience, I found that many other women experienced hair thinning and loss. This product is falsely advertised and I am extremely saddened that my once thick hair is now damaged and thin at the age of 19. Way too darkYou sent a dark color that ruined my hair! I had it professionally stripped and lightened per your instructions, costing $200. All i wanted to do was cover grey and roots. This is way darker than it should have been and it leached into anything that was light! It now looks like shit and i am going to have to pay $200 AGAIN to get it fixed! I followed the instructions to a t but you did not adjust the color like i asked. I specifically said i had put a lot of blonde in my hair that i didnt want ruined. I even set 3 different pictures. doesn't do the trickFirstly, the customer service team did their best. When I wasn't happy with the first color formula, they sent out another. Alas, it's just not at all the color I was hoping to have... LAST MONTH. Secondly, the stuff feels awful rinsing out. It sticks to your hair and is just horrible to wash out. Yuk. Did not work formeI was so excited to give my hair the new color, the one that is formulated just for me and 100 % guarantee, well let me tell you that this is not true, my hair is way darker than it was before, waist of money and the color that I had done at the salon. Light Blonde to medium blondeI tried the kit and really liked how simple it was to color my hair. The only problem is the color! My roots are naturally a medium-dark blonde which ended up becoming light red and my ends which were a light blonde became a dark blonde with a greenish tint to it.
