Not Copper Enough and won't wash out.I ordered this hair color previously and it was a decently bright copper red. This time I feel slightly like a brunette with some red highlights. I knew it might be slightly darker the way I dyed it but it is waaaay darker and barely even red. It was quite disappointing since last time it went mostly well. However both times it was nearly impossible to wash out of my hair. I used all of the shampoo given and then had to use my own to just get the stuff out of my hair. Then I woke up this morning with parts of my hair still feeling weird and had to wash my hair again. Really loved the presentation but didn't do much for my hair.When my package arrived I was so estatic to unbox it. I have to give it to esalon for making hair color so fun and personal, I loved the whole concept and they really make sure your coloring experience is seamless. I just didn't love the color. It's not at all what I imagined. Maybe my hair needed more time to process, etc. but this shade of blonde only slightly diminished some brassy tones. Used to love it, now...I have been a faithful eSalon customer for years, but I’m considering moving on. This product redesign is to blame. I hate when companies can’t leave a good thing alone. 1. Too much unnecessary plastic is making the environmentalist in me twitch. 2. Redesign colors and fonts are bland and I can’t quickly tell products apart like I used too. 3. New developer bottle pinhole is too, too small. I have to adjust it myself with scissors which sometimes results in too much product being dispensed. 4. New color bottle has a wide mouth that you are trying to pour into a smaller developer bottle, making that precarious. Waste of moneyI had such high hopes. I always explain to the colourists my greys are difficult to cover. I’ve had many trips back and forth to the salon when the colour didn’t ‘take’. Somewhat disappointedI have been using this product for almost 8 months to a year. sadly, this does not cover my grays like it claims. I have emailed regarding "adjusting" the color for coverage. However, nothing has changed. I have tried their root cover up and that was a bigger disappointment. It made my hair look dirty, didn't cover and if i ran my fingers thru my hair the dye got all over my hands!!!! Eventually i would have dark spots all over my face, i was horrified being in public and eventually noticing the spray had flaked all over my face. i will give this product a little more time but I'm thinking if you have stubborn hair this may not be for you. I follow the instructions, and even leave it a little longer and as soon as i get out of the shower i can still see some grey!!! Colour was disappointing and faded very quicklyMy first colour was much darker than I had expected. I was not offered a refund or free second colour, despite their guarantee of this. The colour then faded within a week anyway and has left my hair a dull brown. Worst hair dye everWhen I selected my hair color shade I chose a shade of orange-red. I just dyed my hair and it is splotchy, waxy and ashy brown. This was the worst hair dye I have ever used.
