I love this product, but...I’ve been using esalon for a couple of years now and I love it, except for one thing. Like many others have said, it is nearly impossible to rinse out. It leaves a waxy clumpy film that takes 5 + washes to finally get out. I keep hoping that they will fix the problem because so many have complained about it, but so far no luck. I am going to try a different company and see if I can get the same great results without the rinsing problem. Won’t be doing this again.So disappointed. I held off doing the color for a while and finally did it tonight. While my roots color looks great my ends didn’t seem to grab the color and look weird. Worst experience everThe smell was the start of a bad night. Couldn't finish dying hair, so roots are bright red, rest is old dull red. All fans on in house and all windows open and patio door, didn't help until I dumped the rest down the drain as I showered. Even in shower it burned my eyes and choked me. The dye is runy and ruined clothes and all my bathroom stuff. I prepped as I always do, still ruined everything. CoverageI just colored my hair yesterday.I followed the instructions and there are areas that are a different color.My hair color was med brown.I ordered a mahogany brown.My husband said he can't even tell that I colored it.
