Color still too brassyI had requested a color change because there was a lot of red in my color. My next order still pulled some red in my hair. It was a little brassy. Not greatThe end product was an ash brown, not what I was expecting. It may due to the fact I had gone grey for a few years and this was the first color. I’ve ordered from salon in the past and have been very pleased. Totally wrong colorThis was, I think, my 3rd attempt with esalon color. The first kits were used following exact instructions and there was no color change from before coloring to after. No gray cover up, no noticeable before to after color change. This time I switched out the 20 volume developer for 10 volume and there was color change all right. A totally different color which I'm sure will be blamed on the developer switch. There was no strawberry in this strawberry blonde and a medium almost ashy blonde was the result. It was a shocking color change when I went into work the next day. I was looking for a light shade of strawberry blonde to cover my graying temples.
