Awful Smell and Dried out my HairThe smell was horrible. My husband walked in to the bathroom and gagged. I almost couldn't breathe. There was just so, much chemical. During the coloring my hair felt stiff. I thought about washing it out, but waited the recommended 30-minutes. As I started massaging the product out of my hair, my hair began coming out and coating my hands. At one point I was just running my fingers through my hair and it was coming out. Made my hair very dryI used this hair color 2 times and found it made my hair very dry. I tried to cancel my account and found there was no way to do that on-line and also, no way to contact them to request it be removed. Not I expectedI have been told that I am dark blonde. I selected dark blonde (copper pearl,) thinking that it would be close to my hair color and would add a hint of red. It at least looked close to my hair color in the picture. What I ended up with is complete copper, much lighter than my natural hair and not at all like what the picture looks. I have put a request in for help and to see if I can get something darker. I also found that the formula was very pungent and stung my eyes after I had mixed everything together. Great product but shipping delays HUGEThis is the 3rd time I have received an order from esalon. The first came when expected. As did the 2nd. The 3rd I ordered to have on July 1, however, it was not received until July 24th, much too late, resulting in me having to go out and buy another hair dye to use. It all works well until you have a problemI really loved the haircolour and the presentation. The colour lasted quite a while. But then I had a problem with my PayPal and I needed to change email address for my orders. Somehow it was a huge problem. My order was cancelled which I didnt ask to. I was asked to place another order and when I tried, all my items were full price. Nobody willing to help via email and asking me to call international phone number. Listen to the needs of your clients.My review is based on the fact I reintereated several times that dark color is not flattering on me. Also that I needed a medium dark color to cover grays but not too dark and to add some red and gold tones. The color I received was dark brown exactly what I asked it not to be.
