Even with specific instructions I was sent the wrong color again!Even though a long while back esalon sent me a color which was almost exactly the color I needed they continue to change the color without any requests from me. I finally canceled my subscription as I was tired of receiving the wrong color no matter how many times I contacted them. Fast forward about a year and they offered me a deeply discounted price to try them again so I thought if I add a note with EXACTLY the color mix that they once sent me that was perfect maybe I would get the right color this time. I just opened my color box and IT IS STILL WRONG. I don’t even know how this is possible and now I cannot color my hair and have to go through the whole hassle of calling them and getting a refund. AND quickly finding another solution to get my hair done. Poor gray coverageI enjoyed the personalized packaging but that was about it. My first color was too copper toned for me and the gray coverage was pretty poor. I provided that feedback and my color was adjusted. Just touched up my roots and I can still see my grays, even with the new formula. I’m about 25% gray so I wonder how this works on people who have more. Pretty disappointed. Turned off the plan and will go back to the salon. What is happening???First, the color bottle would not open (even when my husband used pliers on the cap) thus I had to cut it open spilling a lot of it down the sink. Next, the Developer was runny and not the rich conditioning feel of past Developers. I went ahead and applied to my hair, The color came out OK and will hopefully not fade quickly. DisappointedExtremely disappointed this time. I've had excellent results the last couple years with this product but this time not only did the color not come close but I ran out of the product during the process. It use to last so much longer….what happened??I have been an esalon customer for many years (>5). Recently there has been a change, Color that use to last 6-8wks now fades very quickly (in about 1-2 wks) and my grey coverage is dismal.
