Love it!The kit was complete with everything needed and instructions were easy to follow. Great follow up by the team to ensure that I got the color I wanted. They advised that the color I initially requested would be too dark, and I’m glad they did. My color was perfect! It’s been almost 3 weeks since I colored and it’s holding up well. DisappointedI would love to permanently dye my hair auburn in the future, but i wanted to see if it suited me first by using a semi-permanent colour, and i couldn't find any home dye kits which were the colour i wanted, so i was over the moon when i found eSalon because it does custom colour suited to your specific hair. I found the perfect colour and ordered 'light brown (red copper)' in demi-permanent (as i've said i don't want to commit to permanent yet). I had high hopes for this especially as i filled out details on my hair type etc, but when i died it it looked nothing like the colour shown on the website. I know it says that permanent is best and recommended for vibrant colours, but i would have thought that it at least looked more auburn than it did! My hair came out with a slight tint instead and some bits didn't seem to dye well at all looking blonde still. It has now been about 5 months since i've died my hair and whilst most of the colour has gone, my hair still doesn't look as blonde as it did before i died it, even though i would've expected all the colour to have gone now considering it was demi-permanent - although i understand that may just be wishfull thinking and your hair may not go back to it's natural colour after dyeing it. Nice product, nice color, nice packagingOverall this is great service and I love the customization they offer and great customer service. The packaging is nice and it comes with everything you need! I was not in love with my color so I only gave it 4 stars. STILL TOO DARK, ALMOST BLACK, s/b medium&YOU FAILED TO SEND MY HIGHLIGHTSWHERE IS MY ORDER? My color is far too dark steel and I now have that hideous dividing line between the hair that is now too dark and the new color that is at least a little better on me. I called Dec 8, 2017 asking if I should do yet another color fix to attempt to lighten the die from the first color you sent me the is far too dark. Or, if I should highlight to try to blend it together. Your staff told me to highlight and I ordered the new immediately-moving up the pending shipment and I was told I should receive it my 2-3 days ago. Surprisingly, AT MY OWN COST even though it was your blend from the first lot that was for too dark, and I've been trying to lighten it ever since. look at my photos. Now my hair is almost black which looks horrible on me! ...That was on 12/8/17, over a week ago and I have received no notices indicating that it’s being shipped, when I was told I would hopefully receive it by two ago. When I looked on-line, it say it isn't shipping until my regular time on the 21st! I MOVED THE ORDER UP-I SHOULD HAVE RECIEVED IT ALREADY. I HAD EXPRESSED THAT I WANTED TO FIX MY COLOR BEFORE MY HUSBAND'S BUSINESS CHRISTMAS PARTY. WHY HASN'T IT BEEN SENT? AT THIS POINT, WOULD YOU RUSH IT?! It should NOT be at MY cost. Also, in the last order I received a conditioner and styling lotion that I did not order. At first I thought they must be samples to try.
