Bad feelingI tend to go between getting my hair done professionally and doing it at home for 10+ years. I've never had a problem with coloring my hair either way. I enjoyed the simple instructions the kit came with and the fact that they included a second set because I have very long hair. HowEVER.... when trying to rinse it out per the instructions, it did NOT wash out. The water ran clear, before the shampoo/conditioner and after the shampoo/conditioner. My hair was left feeling gummy, sticky, waxy, and just generally gross in every way possible. I couldn't brush it out, couldn't dry it. I could barely get it into a bun or ponytail. I waited 24 hours before washing it again and while most of the yucky feeling came out, it's still there and I am in NO way impressed. The color is also much darker than I anticipated. I have NEVER had my hair feel this way after getting it colored in a salon or at home. I gave it two stars because I enjoyed the instructions and customization, even though I think my color is darker than i expected.
