I love this color!**I was tired of paying so much for getting my hair colored. AKA: hiding the gray. I have tried "other" online color companies. It seemed just like buying color in the store. One color box fits all. It was always to dark and lightened up very brassy. Not Esalon. This is the real deal in specific made for you color. Love the product. Your color is a Darkest Brown Red Mahogany, and if applied as instructed, this could not produce such a bright result as the base of the color is darkest brown (one of the darkest shades offered). You did receive a 2nd bottle that was brighter and intended for the previously dyed parts of your hair that could produce the bright results described if applied differently than your instructions.
