Uniquely amazing !!!!...I was sure that I would be satisfied with purchasing color from eSalon~ I was very impressed that they had been awarded by Allure- that’s always something... First time from a "Box" I got the color I wanted!!!My hair is glorious!!! They were generous with the amounts of developer and color so I had no problem covering all of my hair, which is almost all the way down my back about five inches past my bra band. As a matter of fact, I had leftover color! The process was a pain but only because of how long my hair is and how pathetic the hair clips I used were. Everything else was amazing! I loved that my name was on almost everything (I'm one of those people who never finds their name on keychains at souvenir shops). I loved the stain guard and the stain remover! The color is exactly what I wanted and I do mean exactly! Not too light, not too dark, perfect! It's shiny, soft, warm, and perfectly suited to my complexion! Also, I have sensitive skin and had not a single issue with any of the products. The only annoying part was I had to get out of the shower to cut open the shampoo and conditioner packets with scissors because I couldn't open them. Unfortunately faded quicklyGreat pack, excellent customer service. Only downfall is the fade only a fortnight later washing with coloured hair shampoo and conditioner it faded to a wishy washy ginger colour. I’m so unimpressedI ordered online because I didn’t want to use Walmart quality hair dye and that what I got. I followed the instructions to a tee and still see grays, my skin is burning along with my eyes. I specifically said in my notes that I have an issue with thinning hair and losing it due to medical issues and that’s why I wanted specialized hair dye rinsing it out I lost 2x the usual hair and for the first time in a long time I had to use a conditioner. Turned to goop in my hairIt turned into glue in my hair when I went to rinse it out. It wouldn't come out. I thought I was going to have to shave my head to get it out. I washed it with shampoo twice before it started to loosen up. I had to wash it 4 times to get it all out. My hair seems ok now after some major conditioner action. It's not dry yet. Fantastic...and CRUELTY-FREE!!!I found eSalon while searching for at-home color that was both cruelty-free and had great reviews. I tried it and absolutely love it! Fine-tuned custom color, the option to change it up when I want, delivery, cute package- all at the same price as mediocre box color in a few shades from the store. The site is fun and ordering is so simple. Applying the first-time kit takes a little bit of time but it's so important to follow the steps to get the best color (and it's really not that much longer than any other color) . The results are just awesome, and I'm one who makes a product blow me away before I leave glowing reviews like this. This one did! This is by far my favorite color I have ever had, and I have been coloring my own hair for over 25 years (I'm 43 with some grey and have played with color since I was a teenager). My hair is super thick and down to my waistline, and somewhat coarse, but this color handled beautifully. It was soft and glossy, perfectly covered my greys but looked completely natural- evenly blended and complimented by skin tone so well. I have never gotten results this great. What I wasn't expecting was how naturally and gradually it faded- I almost couldn't tell where it left off and my new growth began; it seemed to sort of blend away (no line where you could see the old color stopping and new grey coming in like every other brand I've used, if that makes sense). It's hard to explain but it looked so natural, like it blended my new growth in with my color somehow. Even my husband noticed it- he said it's harder to tell when I need to color again with this brand. I could not be happier with my color. I definitely feel like they should brag about being cruelty-free though- make it obvious on the site next to the other reasons to love this company! This is MAJOR criteria for a lot more people besides me! I am happy to support ethical brands like this, especially when they work this well! Convenient and great colorI was more than pleased with my custom color set! When it arrived, I immediately opened the box and was impressed with how much was included. The instructions and products were easy to use and my color is beautiful! As a natural redhead who is now heavily gray, it is difficult to get just the right balance with out too much orange or too much purple. My color is now very close to my natural color.
