Hannah knocked it out of the park!Used my custom eSalon color this weekend and I loooove it! It is truly perfect for me! my color is not easy ...I was a natural strawberry blond but most salon colors around a level 7 dont adequately cover my grays and fade quickly. My eSalon colorist mixed up a dark blond/gold/copper color that is just gorgeous but a tiny bit darker...and not far away from my natural color. Im super pleased and will be reordering soon! First time ever dyeing my hair!I can't say thank you enough to esalon. I was raised in a super strict household and was absolutely forbidden to dye my hair, not even "boring" colors. I ended up becoming terrified to dye my hair ever. That continued all the way until now, at age 31. I have had grays for about five years now, but only a few and I always would pull them out. After an extremely stressful year, I officially started developing large gray streaks all over and while I love the idea of aging gracefully and naturally, it honestly made my self esteem even worse. Well, only a few days after the gray streaks developed (which somehow happened practically overnight), I got an ad on Facebook for esalon. I read hundreds of incredible reviews and tentatively clicked on the site and took the quiz. I was amazed at how thorough it was, and they asked about hair texture and length, too! I uploaded a picture because I had no idea how to choose the right color. They did it for me! I ordered and was super Nervous. I got my package in the mail and it was SO beautifully packaged which I loved. And they thought of everything....even included a second bottle of dye and developer since my hair is butt length and super thick, for free! The directions are laid out SO uncomplicated and simply on a long piece of paper that comes with a sticker so you can stick it right in front of you on the mirror! I know it's dumb but for someone who was so scared of messing up thru the process, having that in front of my face to read over and over again to make sure I was doing it right was HUGE. it turned out to be such a simple process, with such clear instructions. I rinsed it out, shampooed and conditioned, got out of the shower and my hair looked exactly like it did when I was 17, I swear to god. Didn’t listenThere was a promotion for $10 so I tried it. I submitted pictures of my hair as requested. The coverage was good but I didn’t like the color. It was a little darker than I wanted and a little brassy. I messaged them to let them know and I included pics of the color. They responded that they would send me a complimentary new color because they wanted me to like my hair color which I appreciated. Just received the color in the mail and it’s the exact same one as before so I decided to cancel my subscription. Update: After submitting my review they refunded all my money which was nice. Did not cover the grayUsed exactly as directed and was very disappointed that it did not cover the gray that all other boxed sets do. The color was okay, nothing to rave about.
