I am an 8 year client of esalon and love it!In 2012 my schedule became too busy for salon appointments every 2 weeks and I needed a solution. You screwed up!First order was ok. A little more time than I usually take, and it was dark. I asked for my next order to be lighter, redder. PKG says dark blonde and mahogany. It is almost BLACK! I hate it, my husband hates it. Makes me look very old, and very pale. I'm sure you've seen women of a certain age dye their hair very dark/black and it looks like hell. Like an old vampire. Don't know how you got lighter and redder out of this mix, well I guess you didn't, huh??! Anyway looks like crap. Not what I would have pickedI received a dark brown color the first time after saying I didn't want to go darker. The second shipment had a medium ash mahogany with red in it. I tried it and it didn't look great with my skin tone. I went to my hair stylist and had it adjusted. Nothing wrong with the product, but not a fan of someone picking my color online. It also smelled terribly strong compared to products I have used from Sally's or the salong. Wouldn't recommendOverly complicated to apply, took ages, made a mess of the shower when I washed it off and not the results I wanted. Perfect ColorThis is my first time using esalon. I have tried a couple of places to get the hair color I wanted; they were either too light or too dark even when I used their online stylist. Some did not cover the grey completely. I don't have to look any more. The color was perfect! The coverage was perfect! Price awesome!. Personalized ColorI'm so happy with the results from my first order. My very, very fine hair feels and looks perfectly natural. I've had the color in for about a month now, and it hasn't faded or turned brassy at all. I was considering going a little lighter...but I've honestly fallen in love with the color now.
