Custom colour setThis is my third order. The first order was excellent with covering greys although a little too dark in tone. The second order was horribly darker and I was upset as I requested a lighter shade which was not possible as they were afraid that my roots would go orange in colour, so I was sent the same tonality that had to be applied to the roots only. I followed the instructions, but upon washing the product out not only I was left with a horrible waxy residue; I was darker in shade all over. The third time, it seems I’ve been given a slightly lighter shade, my hair is still wet so I don’t know how it will turn out, however, a horrible waxy residue is left on my hair. It’s sticky and greasy and the last time it took three days to wash out. I’ve put my next order on hold for the moment. Better than expectedI have been using L'Oreal hair color for years. On a whim, I decided to try eSalon. The packaging was lovely. The kit came with everything needed to color my hair and the directions were clear. The dye felt a bit thick and I was nervous at first. But the color was rich and my hair is now thick and shiny. Perfect colorI think we finally got the color exactly where I want it! We had some issues because I had an ombré before my first color, so we ended up too dark trying to keep the ends from fading or being two different colors from regrowth to ends. But with this last mixture the color has been perfect, and even after nearly 8 weeks it hasn’t faded on the ends and is still just as beautiful!
