Too Dark & AllergyI purchased the dark brown color & yet it came out pitch black. Then after a day, I started to develop an allergic reaction. I’ve used numerous hair dyes in the past & have never had an allergy to any of them. Unfortunately, I now have itchy red bumps along my hairline and ear, and also some elsewhere on the scalp. I’m not completely sure if this was cause by the dye, the stain guard, or a combination. 5 years and still going.When I was still working I didn’t mind paying $200 for style and color. I went to the best salon in town and used the master stylists. That ended when work did. Since 2014 I’ve been using Esalon and I’m very happy with this product. A couple times I’ve been back to the salon and the owner/master stylist was impressed with my Esalon color.
