Color is ok, my tub is notColor is a little too red for me but I will be working witn a colorist to try to change that. However my tub is permanently stained pink. Wanted my hair brown but got blackThis was my first time trying this product. I ask for dark brown and got black. My natural hair color is black I just dye it black again. There is no brown at all. I do like that it color my grey. I had grey inThe front since I was a teen and no one even the shop could color it. But this product did. Just didn't get the color I wanted. Asked for ash blonde and got orangey goldAnd I have a neutral blonde base, should not have been difficult for a so called professional colorist to get right. Also, covers LESS gray than my own at home mixes, and I only have maybe 20% gray. Glorified box dye. Giving 2 stars just because it didn't turn my hair green. Impressive results!I am beyond satisfied with my hair color and the texture of my hair after using the product! The color looks so natural, and my hair is soft. I feel and look my self again..I no longer have old lady box color that made my hair drab. The only downside is that it is a bit messier that what I am used to, but hopefully I can improve on the technique in the future. I also plan to order the shampoo and conditioner, I liked that a lot too. Also, this sounds weird and is random, but while rinsing my hair, the smoke detector went off outside the bathroom door. Better then store bought!I have used store bought hair color and have had the color wash out much more quickly then it states BUT with ESALON the COLOR LASTS and does not wash or turn brassy. It stays dark until my gray comes in. It is a good quality product that does not dry out my dry hair or thin it out.
