LOVE this hair color!This is the third shipment I have received from eSalon and I am super pleased every time! Even my hairdresser likes it, as she actually used it to color my hair this time!! I suffer with fibromyalgia (sometime worse than others) and right now, between the fatigue and the pain in my arms, I just couldn't color my hair myself. So I asked my hairdresser if she would mind coloring my hair, but using my eSalon product instead. She agreed and when she was finishing up, she kept commenting on the beautiful color. Then she told me... and you're not going to believe this... she told me to continue to get this product, and if I needed her to color it for me, she would, but that this product was very good. She was especially impressed with the instructions (due to the fact that I was changing color a bit) that the instructions/product came with a 2nd step for the ends. Be carefulBe really careful when making your 1st order. They have it set up on a month by month payment thing. So even if you don't need or want another hair dye, one is shipped to you and they take £18 out your bank to pay for it. Too darkIt's not what I was going for. I feel as tho it's too dark and just an odd blend. I did recieve a compliment,stating it was a pretty brown but I'm not convinced. I realize ordering online,only sending one picture, may be a challenge achieving a satisfying color but I'm sure its attainable. my color is ruinedI finally tried this, it took so long to receive my kit that i bought my regular kit and used it. I'm so disappointed! it suppose to be light golden brown, even i sent a picture of my hair color, now my hair it's a lot darker, nothing to do with the color i use to wear and not even covered my grays. eSalon's New FormulaI am reviewing mostly to see if anyone else is struggling with their hair color since eSalon's recent changes to their formula. My next order will be my 3rd try at readjusting my color. Previously my color had golden mixed in and it was the equivalent of a nice highlighted look. But after the formula change, my first color was very dull with little golden. So it was adjusted. Now it is too much golden which has gotten even lighter within a few days of coloring my roots. I'm am hoping my 3rd request to return to my original color will even out all of the gold. I have definitely noticed a change in the coloring product, both consistency and a strong bleach like odor which is unpleasant. I previously would have rated eSalon with 5 stars and I'm hoping my communications with the colorist can resolve this soon.
