Great hair color & SupportI've been using eSalon custom hair color for a year this month. I was able to adjust my color for summer & back to my original shade for fall. Easy to use, convenient at home delivery & you can change your subscription as needed. Followed the directions, the color didn't take.I know I have darker hair that is why I chose this company since its specifically tailored to you. EXTREMELY PLEASED WITH COLOROver the years, I have had my hair colored at the salon and at times, I've colored my hair myself at home. Refusing to be grey, my hair needs color every 4-5 weeks, It is expensive for salon color. A friend and former hair stylist uses eSalon regularly and introduced me to the product. Love my color!I like that the color is formulated for me and the detailed instructions. My only complaint is the shampoo & conditioner has a very chemical taste. I'm not drinking it but when I rinse my hair some invariably gets on my lips. Just not for meThe formula is so thick! I've tried two different colors and neither worked for me. My hair was dry with no shine afterwards both times. Never got that "just colored" feeling! I have a friend who had great results, so I don't know. I hate the step of adding water to the bottle and using it in the shower. Not sure that does anything but create a big mess. Doesn't last or cover greysI wanted this to be the solution for my hair needs but it fell short. I adjusted my formula from the first round which was a semi-permanent to achieve a medium brown with a permanent dye to cover my greys. It still didn't REALLY cover my greys, they were still a bit lighter than the other hairs and after a month my hair color seems to have faded completely. I used to get my hair colored every three months and with this formula I would have to do it about once a month. Doesn't seem like I'd actually be saving any money in the long run, plus it's a lot more work to do it and make sure I'm not getting dye all over my bathoom.
