Noticeably Different!!!!I have used Esalon for a long time and this new "upgrade" in formula is great! I was struck by how much nicer the smell and the feel of the products were in this package that I went back and read the card about the new formula again. I have bottles of the shampoo and conditioner before and the new stuff is much nicer! I could always do with less packaging, but besides that I wouldn't go back to salon prices when I get such great results at home! Great colour & great serviceI was frantically looking for a good dye after a semi-failed bleach and tone job. And nothing in store was close to my natural hair colour. So I was looking (initially for Madison Reed but found eSalon by a happy mistake) for one of those personalized salon hair dye online pages. Anyways, it was super easy to set your needs and pick your colour - first time around I had gotten medium ash brown and it seemed superclose to my natural colour. But remember the bleach underneath? Yeah after a wash or two that turned it brassy and lighter than intended - which is totally my fault. So I went to my account and added some pictures of current colour and like the colour I wanted to have and Heather immediately got to work. I just feel like people here care. They don't just let you walk around with a colour you're not 100% in love with. And tbh compared to all the stuff you have to buy at Sally's, this is such a great deal. Color was much darker/customer service terribleI bought my first color in July and it came ridiculously dark. Darker than my original color (it was supposed to be a bit lighter and redder). Customer service was slightly helpful at first, though the emails were full of misspelled words which raised alarm bells. I was told to keep washing my hair until it's out then we can re-color. That was in June. It's November. It's faded some but nowhere near out. I've been using Dawn at times and always a clarifying shampoo at least twice a week. I've emailed customer service because I'm ready to just dye something over it, and I would like advice on colors. Ten days an no reply, despite a follow up. Product is expensiveThe color, first off, is great. Very solid quality and considerable to salons. But when i first asked for a second bottle the initial time I used the product I barely had enough to finish my hair. When I requested 2 bottle the second time the price was 34 dollars for both.
