Superior home dye kit!I haven’t coloured my own hair for over 20 years, but decided to give esalon a go when all the hairdressers closed during lockdown. The ordering was easy and the products arrived in lovely packaging. The instructions said to do my roots first, but I ignored that as I don’t have roots, so just put the colour on all over and left for 20 mins. It’s come out exactly the same colour as when my hairdresser does it, but at a fraction of the cost! I’ve heard so many horror stories of dark brown hair dye turning hair black, but am pleased to say my hair is a lovely, glossy and rich mahogany. Great color correctionMy colorist did a great job matching my hair color. It didn’t eliminate the red and brassy altogether but i didn’t expect it to without A toner. Overall i think it did a great job of blending my Hair and getting rid of those chunky roots. Stunning results! The best thing about COVID was trying esalon!I was astonished how easy it was and how great it looked. All my freinds/neighbors were amazed. You Nailed My Color!I simply could not believe it! My 13-year-old colored my hair and the shade you selected blended absolutely seamlessly with my current color, making my dark and gray roots invisible! My hair has a lustrous, healthy shine and has looked great for 4 weeks now! I am overwhelmed! Can't wait to try some highlights! Thank you, eSalon! I am sold!Admittedly, I was a bit leery when I first ordered my eSalon kit, as I figured it probably wasn’t much different than drug store box dyes. I am so glad I was wrong! Elisa (the colorist assigned to me) did a great job in coming up with a formulation that suited my hair type and requests (I had requested to neutralize the brassiness from a prior color, which the formulation she mixed did perfectly)! One Question though...What is the name of or brand of the Shampoo/Conditioner you send along?? Custom Color SetI never used eSalon products before but knew that I didn't like box color! I usually go to a regular salon, but with Covid-19 was unable to, and I really liked the reviews about eSalon. I just needed my roots colored to cover the grey and protect my highlights.
