hair feels waxyI thought product was easy to use since I have colored my own hair before. I am very happy with the color result, but I have a waxy buildup thought I rinsed hair well the first time. Let my hair air dry couldn't stand the build up so I tried rinsing again with just water, still seemed just as bad. colors don't matchI had asked for a free replacement and more red to be put in and there was no red at all. This was a free replacement because the last one turned out to be lighter on top and darker on the bottom. Now it's even worse than it was before. The bottom is almost black! The directions were followed exactly. I have an appointment this next Tuesday to see if my hairdresser can fix this mess and it's going to cost me another $60.00. Slimy gummie hairThe past two shipments of hair color have made my hair slimy and gummy. I had no choice but to wash my hair with Dawn dishwashing liquid to get that gross slimy, gummines out of my hair. Clearly you've changed your product as it smelled heavily of ammonia both times. Not for meI was excited to try the color despite the negative reviews. I followed the instructions and applied the color to my hair. The scent was so strong that it burned my eyes. The product didn't get into my eyes but the odor was too strong. Once the color was completely covering my hair, I was ready to leave it on for the full 30 minutes until I noticed it was turning purple. I hadn't had the color on for 10 minutes and got scared that my hair would come out purple. The color I was going for was a dark brown with a hint of red and my hair is a dark brown to begin with. After I shampooed my hair no less than ten times, it was a decent color. I will not be purchasing this hair color, at this time, as it is more expensive than the color I normally purchase at a local hair salon store. Another reason why I will not be purchasing the color again is the fact of not knowing the color to get for the desired brown/red I'm looking for and the strong odor was too much to handle. It's been a couple of weeks now and I can already see the few gray hairs I have are popping out again.
