It is a little red.Don't get me wrong, I would rather have a little red than grey. I love your hair color because it has a lot of color dimensions to it. We are going into winter so it is not a big deal, but I am very dark complected. I have Olive skin. I should have told you guys that my hair does have some red in it. It was more reddish when I was a toddler. Can I send you guys some pictures to show you what I mean? I want to order again from you guys in a couple of months and I just want to give you a heads up. Toxic SmellI wish the ingredients were more natural I almost couldn't use the product for trying to get past the extremely strong odor. We apologize that you feel the smell of the color is strong. Since coloring hair is a chemical process, we need to use developer to cover gray. Another option would be to use a demi permanent color that would only blend your gray. We have gone ahead and made a note to your account to discuss this with you during future orders. |

Did not work out for meAlthough the colorists took the time to formulate this color for me, it did not work out. My hair is processed already and for some reason, turned my strand test hair a pink hue, therefore, I did not proceed with the entire head. I will say that Esalon has been very helpful and professional in dealing with me, which I appreciated.
