MehhhhThe color came out orangey, brassy, I'm not happy. Not sure what happened. My roots were gray, I supplied 2 pictures of my current color, and so I don't know why roots would turn out this way. I had to purchase another color product at Pharmacy to somewhat correct. I don't feel this is personalized at all, They just take information from the questions, but the questions were too general, they need deeper dive into a person's color situation to be "personalized" More question on the roots. Great coverageThe reformulated color is good. Provides great coverage, but looking for ways to preserve the highlighting. Since coverage is so good, has a tendency to color the entire head, not just where it's applied. Losing that shineI have absolutely loved the convenience of having my hair color delivered to my home every 5 weeks ---- I travel alot for my career so it makes it convenient and easy to keep up the color by having home delivery; however, these past two applications my hair has not looked as healthy as the previous applications. Hair dyeWas way to light and didn't really find it differant from the dye I use from the store and find it easier to pick the right color your product was find. Will not repurchaseThis was my 3rd time coloring with Esalon color over the last 6 months. The first two times, I was very happy with the color and the process. It left my hair feeling very nice. This time around, I applied the color per the instructions. The only difference this time was I changed the color. When I rinsed the color off, it literally took an hour to get the color out. It made my hair feel very rubbery and slick. I had to shampoo it 4 times. I think it totally defeated the purpose of coloring my hair and I had to use different shampoo because the little packet of shampoo they provide you wasn't enough to get the color out. After drying my hair, my hair is VERY damaged and fried (my hair was super healthy before this color application) and my hair feels very greasy. You also cannot tell I colored my hair.
