UnhappyTo pale looked dull on my hair and wasn't very kind to my hair either so I turned off the plan after my first order. Our gel color is crafted from highly pigmented professional-grade dyes, which can feel heavy if not totally washed out per your Personalized Instructions and sometimes requires a little bit more shampooing than other color. Product was a disasterProcess involves two stages. The first stage went fine, though the product was a little runny and tended to drip down my neck and face. The second stage was a disaster. The smell of the product was so intense (ammonia-like, not sure what it was) that I was forced to abort the second stage and rinse my hair and flush my eyes and face for about five minutes. Not sure why. The second stage product was also so runny it slid off my hair and splashed around my bathroom, leaving a huge mess. Completely wrong colorI have long dark brown/black hair . With Grey roots. Explained in initial order that it was quite awhile since I colored my hair. I was very disappointed in the color result. Grey roots are red and the rest of my hair is dull brown. Did not have enough colorant for my thick full hair. Had better results with miss Clairol darkest brown. Too darkLove the concept of having bespoke hair colour delivered regularly. However the colour I received was very dark. I was expecting a warm medium brown but the colour was a dark brown, because the roots were so much darker than my hair I had to work the colour through the rest of my hair.
