Worst hair color experienceThis hair color option seemed promising. I followed all the instructions (not hard to do since I have been dying my own hair for 20+ years). It just seemed that color was "sticky" and even after using their shampoo and conditioner included (as instructed) my hair felt very weird. The next couple of days it continued to feel strange. Then I finally used a very fine comb with my shampoo and it "scraped" off residue. Then my hair felt back to normal. The color was not at all what I expected. I wanted a dark black, they sent that with some red/purple in it (Which I expressed to "my colorist" my hair doesn't hold reds). Who knows why they sent that. And it hasn't even been a month and it needs to be redone. At least with my Garnier brand I can go 8+ weeks. Not impressed, will not try again. Inconsistent. Clown Red Roots!9/28. Update. Cancelling because they only sent me the right formula once of five orders and would not just send me the right one again despite phone calls and emails. The last one was just brown (no red) and left my hair sticky and coated after 3 washes! Switching to Madison Reed. Adjusted my color after I had clown red roots. Great! ...for one month. Then they sent me the shitty color again (after I confirmed they would send me the new formulation that actually worked.) They assured me it was the right one. Nope. My hair looks ridiculous. Alix cannot follow instructions. The inconsistency is making me cancel. I loved the color that was the right one.
