New packaging is faultyReceived and used my hair color kit yesterday. Excited for the new look. However the experience was frustrating. The colorant cap would not open. After several attempts using rubber gloves with no budging, I had wait for my son and husband to get Home to have them to open the cap. It wasn’t easy for my husband either. Delayed my hair color for an hour. Then all is well until I’m washing the color out. The new shampoo and conditioner packettes tear was faulty. I tore off but nothing came out. I’m in the shower totally annoyed bc the inner clear layer was not punctured and wouldn’t release the sh and then same for cd. While the packaging is pretty, it does not work functionally. OverallI was excited when the box arrived. I opened it and got cream developer on me. Leaking bottle was not tight. I followed directions (i have self colored for 30 years). I noticed the color turning a dark brown as it developed and was hoping it was not what i thought it was. I do not like or use cool or ash colors of blonde. I prefer light golden with red tones.
