Waxy residue - ZERO stars!!!I purchased my colour in February but didn't use it until last night (was waiting to get my hair cut as I donate it every 2 yrs and wouldn't be able to donate it once it had been coloured), upon rinsing my hair it had this waxy/tacky residue in it, it felt like the outside of a cucumber that had that wax applied to it. It took me multiple washes to completely rinse all of the residue out of it. I have soft water, have my entire life; my hair hasn't been coloured in 20yrs so it's not anything that was previously done to my hair, the only time I put any kind of product in my hair is when I flat iron it (which I haven't done in several months) and I use high quality shampoo & conditioner so I KNOW it wasn't anything I did or had in my hair. DYE STREAMING DOWN MY FACE AND BACK,Applied this hair dye as directed. It streammed off my head, down my face and back, ruining two towels and staining my bathroom floor and walls. Color is ok, my tub is notColor is a little too red for me but I will be working witn a colorist to try to change that. However my tub is permanently stained pink. Wanted my hair brown but got blackThis was my first time trying this product. I ask for dark brown and got black. My natural hair color is black I just dye it black again. There is no brown at all. I do like that it color my grey. I had grey inThe front since I was a teen and no one even the shop could color it. But this product did. Just didn't get the color I wanted. Asked for ash blonde and got orangey goldAnd I have a neutral blonde base, should not have been difficult for a so called professional colorist to get right. Also, covers LESS gray than my own at home mixes, and I only have maybe 20% gray. Glorified box dye. Giving 2 stars just because it didn't turn my hair green. never againdid not do anything but hide my gray hair, my hair was not darker, does not show the purple tint in the sun. The mixture black, red and purple made a dark brown like my hair was already. Will not purchase againThe fumes from the coloring mixture were unbelievable. I waited outside until time to rinse to ease my constant eye irritation and coughing. The color did not last. Will not use again even if it was free. I will go back to L'Oreal Excellence. A much better product!
