It was okayThe kit needs to come with a few more stain removers. The cool toolset was a bad choice but your video talked me into it. I have been dying my hair for over 10 years. Great color but...Love the natural looking color, but it really dries out my hair no matter how much I condition it. Bad instructions, horrible colorist. Still gray.Got my first box in the mail yesterday and I was super excited to try today. Open up the box and found that the instructions they gave me were only for a root color and a 10-minute process for the ends when I clearly told them it would be an all over process that I needed. immediately picked up the phone to talk to one of their superb colorists to walk me through what I should do, and it was an epic failure. The girl on the other end of the phone barely had a pulse and zero customer service skill. over and over after I explain myself I kept being told that their suggestion was to only leave the color on 10 minutes on the ends no matter how many times I explain to her how persistent my grays were. I'm a blond that's about 75% Gray and I can tell the difference between blond and gray so I know when a color fails. I thanked her for absolutely zero help and went along to color my hair per their instructions so I didn't fry it. Even with 30 minutes on the roots as instructed, my temples and roots are still completely gray, Where the color did take on the rest of my hair for the 10 minutes it was being processed is burnt (but yes, blonde, for a week I'd guess, but it had absolutely zero coverage on the grays that frame my face. I will try to get a refund, but there's no way I'll do it again if they offer a replacement as their "guarantee." Buyer beware, you're not speaking to a stylist when you're calling in, they won't offer you any tips except for reading a script...if you challenge them with any question that is outside of their script all they tell you is "this is the only suggestion we have." Maybe they should hire "stylists" with a personality that show a little more excitement over the product, and add hype words to their script. "Yes! Sure! Happy to help! This is what I'd try!" Grays, Grays EverywhereI am loving the color, but it’s only lasting about a week before my grays start to show their ugly face again. This happened with my last coloring too so really I have only been 100% satisfied with the way my very first coloring lasted. Ammonia, overall colorThe quality of the color is good but this product has a very strong ammonia smell that I cannot deal with. Color not takingIt’s not so much of a bad review, it’s just that it didn’t take to my roots well enough. I’ve used another brand & it’s amazing. Yours cost way more but didn’t do the job.
