Color was okay. So much promise but just okay.First thing, they indicated that they’re going to send a brush with the kit, and that never happened. No brush with the kit. Good thing they included gloves. It’s like my kit was packed in a hurry and I get that. I just didn’t like that they say too much nice things about the the product but didn’t hold up to their word. There’s not much difference really with just using retail brand hair color.. The color and texture of my hair is the same. If there are changes, they’re barely noticeable. There’s so much promise on the product but it is just okay. I will be going back to my organic hair color. Need to try one more timeWas absolutely delighted. Then I washed my hair and the colour had faded quite significantly. I’m going to try it one more time, but I’ll leave it on longer; definitely more than 2-3mins on the body of my hair. Supposed to be soft black with golden highlightsAfter doing step 1, went to step 2, I have 3ft of hair that was covered with that product for the 5 min. Went to step 3 in the shower and followed directions. Now all my hair is like a dark/ med brown with exception of a 6 inch long section of black in towards the ends. Spilled productPart of the chemicals were spilled open into the box when I opened it. I couldn’t even read the instructions bc they were covered in black dye. The developer was everywhere making my box useless. As I was not mixing half ingredients and then adding to my hair, this became a waste of my money. Not for MeEven though the color was supposedly matched with a photo it made my hair white. Because of COVOID19 I could not go to my salon. I contacted my hairdresser with a photo and she dropped color off in my mailbox with instructions. Now I have an appointment for Thursday and will need corrective color and have my normal color. very frustrating and disappointed. Also, good look canceling. I did not realize they were going to keep mailing me and charging my card. I know this was my fault for not reading the fine print. I found my way here by trying to cancel my account which is not easy. I have a box of this they shipped in May that has not been touched. Go to the drugstore, you will have better results.Nothing in this kit is different then a drugstore kit except it was actually significantly worse. I went from having a natural cool brown with slightly oxidized tips (which was discussed. I didn't mind the tips being a bit off as I would trim them anyways) to full oxidized hair in a off ginger brown. I ordered a custom hair colour for ash blonde so I guess I expected either same result or hopefully better but got MUCH MUCH worse. I hate a gut feeling when I looked at the kit that this was going to be bad and the instructions of putting it on your roots 15 mins before the rest of your hair when you are lightening seems really, really ill advised when it is on natural hair. I believe this is a click bait rip off that just is trying to rebrand at home box dye at a much steeper price. Savior during quarantineI was pleased with how easy to use the eSalon color was. I also felt like the color was a good match to my usual hair color. However, I did notice that the gray coverage was not as complete as what I am used to with my stylist and the color also began to fade after about a week. It’s been just over two weeks since I colored it (with a little help from my 15 year old daughter) and I am really happy that our salon is opening back up! I feel like I will need a re-color in two weeks or less. Overall, I would definitely use it again in a pinch. A great startI wanted to go for a more pearly, light ashy tone but this still left my hair very yellow/orangey.
